We measure up, check levels against your damp proof course and doors, and help you pick a blend that suits the house and garden.
Base preparation
Sound existing concrete can often be overlaid. Otherwise we excavate and build a proper compacted base - a patio needs correct preparation just like a driveway.
Edging and drainage
Clean edge details against lawns and borders, with falls or discreet channels so water always goes where it should - never towards the house.
Laying and finish
Resin and aggregate mixed on site and hand-trowelled to a smooth, even surface, worked neatly around steps, drains and features.

Is a resin patio slippery when wet?
The aggregate gives natural texture, so it grips better than smooth slabs. For shaded gardens that stay damp, we can add an anti-slip additive to the finish for extra grip.
Can you go over my existing patio slabs?
Usually not directly over slabs, because individual slabs move independently and can crack the finish. Over a sound solid concrete base, yes. We'll assess what's there and quote for the right build-up.
How soon can we use the patio?
Typically you can walk on it the next day, depending on temperature. We'll confirm exact curing times when we install.
What colours are available?
There's a wide range of natural aggregate blends - buffs, golds, greys, silvers and mixed tones. We'll bring samples to your free quote visit so you can see them against your house.
