Can sunken block paving be fixed without replacing the drive?
Usually yes. Blocks are lifted, the base underneath is rebuilt and compacted, and the same blocks are relaid — which also keeps the colour match. The key is fixing why it sank, which is normally base or water-related.
Why is water pooling on my driveway?
Either the falls were never right, the surface has settled, or a drainage point is blocked or missing. We'll diagnose it and quote the appropriate fix — sometimes that's as simple as an ACO channel in the right place.
Is it worth repairing or should I replace?
As a rule of thumb: localised problems on an otherwise sound drive are worth repairing; widespread sinking, cracking or break-up usually means the base has failed and replacement is better value long-term. We'll give you an honest assessment either way.
