How the driveway visualiser works
- Take or upload a photo. Stand back so the whole driveway is in shot, in daylight, with a kerb or the house wall visible.
- Outline the area. Tap around the edge of the driveway. Add points on a line for curves and corners; drag any point to adjust it.
- Choose a finish and border. The perspective is set automatically from your outline so stones and blocks get smaller towards the back, as in a real photo; if it looks stretched, press Adjust perspective and drag the four corners.
- Compare and send. Tap colours to compare, drag across the picture to see before and after, then send the preview to us for a written quote.
The tool uses prepared colour swatches and generated paving patterns with lighting from your photo. It is a design illustration, not a measurement or a guarantee of the installed colour.
Finishes you can try

- Tarmac driveways: fresh black, standard grey or red tarmac, usually finished with a block paving edge.

From preview to finished driveway
A preview is the start of the conversation. When you send it to us we look at the existing surface, access and drainage in your photo, then arrange a free site visit to check the base and measure up. Your written quotation itemises preparation, edging, drainage and the finish you chose, and we bring real samples so you can confirm the colour against your brickwork before anything is ordered.

Driveway visualiser: common questions
How realistic is the driveway visualiser?
It maps the real manufacturer swatch onto the ground in your photo with the correct perspective, keeps your photo's own shadows and lighting, to help compare finishes. It is an illustration rather than an accurate colour measurement: we bring real samples to every site visit.
Which colours and finishes can I try?
Every Vuba resin bound colour we install, the Stonecraft and Tobermore block paving ranges in 90° or 45° herringbone and stretcher bond, and black, grey or red tarmac. You can add a border in block paving (laid as a soldier course of 200 × 100 mm blocks), a contrasting resin band, or a charcoal kerb.
Do I need to outline the driveway myself?
Yes, and it takes about twenty seconds: tap around the edge of the area and press Finish. Doing it by hand is more accurate than automatic detection on the awkward shapes real driveways have, and you can include or exclude borders, paths and parking areas exactly as you want them. The perspective is worked out automatically; you can fine-tune it afterwards if needed.
Does my photo get uploaded anywhere?
No. The picture is processed in your own browser. It only leaves your device if you choose to send the preview to us for a quote, or share it yourself.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It is built for touch: take the photo with your phone camera, outline with your finger (a magnifier appears while you drag), and drag across the picture to compare before and after. It also works on tablets and computers.
Why does the surface look too bright or too dark?
Phone cameras expose every photo differently. Use the Brightness and Shadows sliders to match the light in your picture, and the width slider if the stones or blocks look too large or small for the space.
How do I get a quote for what I've designed?
Press 'Send this to Quantock for a quote'. We receive your preview and original photo with your details, reply with a clear next step, and arrange a free site visit before a fixed written quotation.
Where do you install the finishes shown?
Across Somerset and Bristol from our base near Bridgwater, plus selected Devon locations by appointment, including Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Exeter and Exmouth.
